Prayer request for Pon
Please pray for our friend Pon (on the left in the picture above). Earlier this week his younger sister was killed in an accident leaving behind three young children. This is obviously a difficult time for him and the rest of the family. He has left his university studies in Vientiane, Laos, to return to his home (a village in another part of Laos). We have a two-day holiday at the beginning of next week so I'm planning to leave Sunday night and take the train up to spend a few days with him when he returns to the university. I've been wanting to visit him and this seems like a good time to do that. I'll probably come back to Bangkok on Wednesday night.
Thanks for joining us in prayer for Pon and the rest of his family. And I would also appreciate your prayers for our time together - that I would know what to say and that God would speak to us as we pray and study the Bible together.
