Update and zoo pics

Our three weeks in Rosedale are coming to a close this weekend. It's hard to believe how quickly the time has gone. We have had a wonderful time reconnecting with our friends, spending time at RMM and at our home church, eating American food, and enjoying fall. Tomorrow we give the program at London Christian Fellowship in the morning and then head out for our weeks vacation in Hocking Hills in the afternoon. Really excited about a whole week of family time and time to enjoy fall in the woods. We'll be a little out of touch this week and then in Virginia starting Oct. 31. Our number in VA is 540-432-6675. Feel free to call!

Here are a few pictures of a really wonderful day at the zoo this week. The weather was just right and the kids enjoyed the animals so much!

Good Times

Our second week in the States just flew by. We are realizing that we need to savor every minute because our time here is going by so, so quickly! We completed our debriefing at RMM this week and had lots of times with friends. This will just give you a taste of the good times we're having with old friends.....

On the other side of the world

We made it! After a very long trip (made even longer by a delay in Tokyo) we arrived safely in Ohio on Monday evening. Since then we've been catching up on our sleep, enjoying American food, cold weather, and the company of both sets of parents. We feel blessed to have a place to stay and have received a very warm welcome here. Thanks to all of you who had a part in that!

This Friday we start a week of debriefing with RMM and we'll stay in Ohio through the end of October.

Thanks so much to those of you who prayed for our trip - it was very tiring and difficult at times, but the kids were wonderful travelers. We couldn't have asked for them to do any better.

We're looking forward to our time here - and hope to see many of you. Thanks again for praying.

-Tom
