Drinking bird spit

birdnest.JPG
Recently I tried something new - bird's nest drink. The only ingredients listed on the label were bird's nest and sugar. It's made from the nests of cave swifts - and they construct their nests using their own saliva. It didn't have much taste, but the texture was memorable. For some reason I couldn't persuade anyone to take more than one sip.

Excellent!  These are the kinds of informative, eye opening blogs I can relate to. Kind of like the one where the guy was picking his nose. Keep up the good work. Sorry I haven't commented recently, but I kept getting an error message.

Tom, it's the posts like this one make me keep coming to your blog, guys :)
