Visa update

Thanks so much to all of you who have been praying about our visa this week. Overall, the news is good – but it’s not finalized yet. We have had many issues with our lawyer not providing the necessary paperwork. We spent parts of three days this week waiting at the immigration office and each time there were problems with the paperwork. Our frustration is high at this point. As it stands now, we need one final document and they are giving us a grace period to get this all done (technically we’re out of time). So, by Monday afternoon we should know for sure. (But we’ve thought that before so it’s hard for us to get our hopes up!)
Today we are busy cleaning and getting ready for our big Christmas party tonight. We'll try to post some pictures of that tomorrow.
Thanks again for thinking of and praying for us! We appreciate you!!
It seems like this whole visa process has been characterized by two things lately....waiting and praying...and here's two pictures to prove it....

When we couldn't get a taxi to take us to immigration the other day (Tom was already there), the girls started praying and the next driver finally said yes!! Claire's faith has been an encouragment. She keeps saying, when we talk about the visa, "We just need to pray!"

And waiting. At immigration, waiting for our number to be called.
