The spread. I was thankful for the many friends who pitched in and helped out! The menu: grilled pork, sticky rice, spicey shrimp soup, somtam, fruit kebabs, and cookies.

One of the best parts for us was having our Thai friends meet each other and our team. It was a good time of getting caught up and meeting new people. With close to 30 people in our house, it felt pretty full!

My former Thai teacher and friend, Ju, helps out by serving the shrimp soup.

Friends from Dan's home group, Wanna and Utai.

Reading of the Christmas story in Thai.

It was a special night for us. We felt really blessed looking around and seeing all the new people that God has brought into our lives since we've been here. We're blessed with a great team around us too. We were especially touched with how our landlords, Ulai and Seri pitched in and helped us a lot with the shopping and food and serving. They have blessed us in so many ways and we are thankful!
My parents are coming in two days and will be staying for 2 1/2 weeks. We are looking forward to taking some vacation time and enjoying being together over Christmas!

WOW! It looks like you guys had an incredible night! I think it is so cool that Coleen is there with you all too. Who knew when we were at RBI and in REACH way back then that you guys would be together again in Thailand!
Oh... and was Eliza the only one mesmerized by Paul's guitar playing? That was really a cute picture!
Looks like you had a jolly good time!

So neat to see how God is using you in Thailand, making so many friends. Looks like a good time all together! praying for you ~

So glad you had a blessed celebration.
Anxious to hear about your visa situation tomorrow. Know it is frustrating!
Enjoy your parents being there.

Wow, looks like tremendous fun! Wish I could've been there to see everyone and try the shrimp soup. It's kind of strange to see the REACH people in your pictures because I just saw them a couple of weeks ago in Ohio. :). Have a wonderful Christmas with Mom and Dad!

Yum! I liked the picture of Ulai grilling the pork in front of the house and the one of Claire and Hope. The girls wore yellow to honor their king? Looks like a wonderful time!
