Visa Run # 6: Cambodia (Again)
There is good news and there's bad news on the visa front. The bad news is Tom didn't get his new visa in time to avoid another visa run (so we all did the long bus ride to Cambodia again yesterday). The good news is it looks like it's coming through this week. So, it's off to immigration again tomorrow with hopefully better results this time. Some pictures of fun times at the border....

So thrilled to be here.

With the border roosters (unknown significance). Shhhh. Don't tell anyone but Eliza broke the head off of one (pretty sure he was already broken. :) ).

And another very brief stop in Cambodia.
So, we're legal aliens for another 30 days, folks.
And on Monday, as part of Anita's orientation to our working locations, here we are on a boat ride in Bang Bo....

Claire and new friend Anita.

Eliza enjoying herself.

Funny to see my name on your blog and it not be me! Love you guys--glad you're home safe (and legal!).

Eliza, I LOVE your beautiful smile! Will you please read to us again soon? I would like that very much. Twila read me a funny story about a little blue Tuk tuk. Do you have any books about tuk tuks?

"Strangers, pilgrims, and sojourners!" Your visa trips are vivid reminders that we are all resident aleins on this planet.. . . "This world in not my home, I'm just a-passin through; my treasures all belong somewhere beyond the blue; The angels beckon me from heaven's open door, and I can't feel at home in this world any more."
We hope and pray the work visa comes through and that your resident alien status includes a little nesting-time! Blessings from Dad and Mom.
