Weekend Happenings

Friday night was a girl's-night-in with Trish and Sharon- our last sleepover before Trish heads back to the states in a few weeks (sniff, sniff!). Saturday morning we made cinnamon rolls- the first time we've attempted this here.

The girls loved poking and eating the dough and licking the brown sugar.

Today was a beautiful day with a nice breeze and we enjoyed having our team worship time by the lake at the Rama IV park.

And now for Eliza Fest. Sorry, but I couldn't edit myself!

And finally, as for our work permit/visa never-ending saga.....Tom is in the process of applying for a work permit with a language tutoring center (the lawyer who is assisting is a friend of a friend of a friend....). If the work permit works out he could set up his own English tutoring lessons or work for a school. We are praying that all the details will work out quickly and smoothly to receive the visa before Sept. 2.
Thanks for all those who said you were praying- it encourages us and helps us trust God and his timing.

I love the pictures of you all and Eliza. She's so photogenic. (what a mischievious little look on the last one :)) We will keep praying about the work permit.
Love, C

Today was the Thai team report. My favorite part was seeing a little clip of Eliza singing. :) It's fun to see how she's grown up since you left.

When I saw the pictures with you and Tom in them...I missed you.

I'll be praying that things go well with the work permits. God's timing is sure not what we would like most of the time, but I have found that His timing is always perfect! The report today from the team was very interesting. It was great to see more of your life. I really like the wall hanging. I'll find a place to hang that this week. Miss you all! ~Marsha

Great pictures! We will certianly keep praying for the work permit/visa situation.

Thanks for the interesting pictures and commentary of your life in Thailand. I also loved the Thai team presentation at church yesterday.
The CMC office moved downstairs in the former Choice Books area and love our new space!
We miss you at the office, Tom!

Yummy cinnamon rolls!! Love the family picture, and the pictures of Eliza. She's so beautiful! Love the sunflowers too - one of my favorite flowers. Miss you all...wish we could fly over with Anita!!

Kudos to the cinnamon roll makers!! Will this become a new tradition? I'll bet they don't take long to rise in that hot environment. I love the picture of Eliza partially framed by the tulips!

Wonderful pictures! I can't wait to get hold of that little girl in October. She has grown so much. Blessings on the work permit.

Hey Candice, it looks like the number of responses has increased. :)
