We're in Thailand!
We finally made it! After about 17 hours on a plane we're very glad to be here and don't want to repeat that trip anytime soon! If nothing else, the thought of a return flight will keep us on the field.
But seriously our first impressions of this country are postive. We were dropped off at a hotel this evening and we took a walk to check out the many food vendors and find some supper. We bought several samples and had a good learning experience.
Now we're ready to sleep for a while. Tomorrow we visit our house and begin to look for essential items like furniture and cell phones.
Thanks so much to those of you who prayed for our trip. We're excited to be here!

Grateful to hear you arrived safely (without too much kicking and screaming?) We look forward to hearing more about Thai food, your house, and the people you meet. Not too many changes in Durham, those changes will happen next week when Martin begins school. We're also enjoying riding around in style in our new Camry! Thanks again for all the baby items...we can't wait to begin putting them to use. We'll continue to pray for you and the girls.

Today's family fun day. I was over there for a while and Tom and Lois are doing an amazing job! Wish you and your kids could be here, but very glad you made it to Thailand. Don't forget to marvel.

I am so glad to hear that you arrived in one peice, well at least physically. I'm sure that emotionally you might not feel that way. Please know that I am praying for you. I really missed you on Sat,Candice. The day was great and Tom's did a wonderful job. Just thought you might like to know that Colleen is joining our team. I think she will make a great addition.
